Is the “no allusions” rule that Ethan described in his article a permanent, thing, or just for this set? Some of my favorite cards are allusions and I would hate to see them disappear from Magic completely.
We'll still do allusions, just at a lower volume in in-Multiverse sets.

Instead of “activate only as a sorcery”, can I request “activate only on your turn”? It’s slightly more fun and increases interaction.
It depends why we want the restriction. Often we don't want it used in combat.

Do you feel like universes beyond forces more color pie bends for the purposes of flavor and is this harnful?
No, one of the rules is Universes Beyond sets get the same number of bends as in-Multiverse sets.
